With Andy leaving in the third inning with a groin strain, it was up to the bullpen to do the job and boy did they ever.

The bullpen finished with 6 2/3 of two-run, five-hit ball. Robertson tossed 1 2/3 scoreless and Chan Ho Park followed with 1 1/3 perfect innings. Boone Logan and Joba Chamberlain held the lead before Mariano Rivera recorded the final out with a man on by throwing just one pitch. (Courtesy of LoHud)

This was a really big win to allow us to gain a game on the Rays. It was a weird weekend with the remembrances of Bob Sheppard and the Boss. Maybe they were flat, maybe they weren’t but considering AJ really put us in a bind with Price pitching today, it turned out pretty well. Now it’s time for someone to step up for Andy if he can’t go.
